Terms and Conditions of Accreditation：

Interested media please complete and return the press accreditation registration form along with all supporting materials via email to [email protected] by 1:00 pm on Xday, Date (Hong Kong time) for processing.

Please read carefully and to agree to the following

1. Only successful applicants whose applications have been approved by HKFAA and who can present the original badge will be admitted to the event venue. Others will not be entertained.
2. All press accreditation badges are valid for the approved applicants only and are non-transferrable.
3. Please wear the press accreditation badge at all times within the designated areas of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. HKFAA reserves the right to request the reporter to present identity verification when required.
4. Please conduct interviews, photo-taking and film shooting within the designated press zone.
5. Press accreditation badges will not be reissued under any circumstances.
6. Press accreditation badges CANNOT be sold, transferred, exchanged, or made forgery. Redistributing, selling, stealing, forging and counterfeiting credentials will be reported to police.
7. Other than photo-taking, any forms of livestreaming, delayed airing, videotaping and recording are strictly prohibited in the Grand Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre during the award presentation ceremony.
8. Except for the HKFAA's designated film crew, any form of live broadcast (including video and audio) of awardee interviews as well as photo-taking during these interviews in the Media Centre (i.e. the Concert Hall of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre), are strictly prohibited.
9. Photo-taking, videotaping, livestreaming, delayed airing and recording of the award presentation ceremony from the giant screen in the Media Centre, i.e. the Concert Hall of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, are strictly prohibited.
10. All coverages are for news reporting by the authorized media only that they cannot be used in any other programmes/ sections. The media can neither authorize the use of any coverages by any other media. Commercial use is unacceptable.
11. Please comply with the copyright regulations set by HKFAA for “The 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards”. HKFAA reserves the right to pursue legal prosecution against any infringement which will also be used by HKFAA to assess application for press accreditation in the next year.
12. Entrants are requested to comply with all other house rules of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
13. In case of any disputes, HKFAA reserves the right to revise and interpret the terms and conditions. The decision of HKFAA shall be final.

1. Press accreditation application period is from Xday, Date to 1:00 pm on Xday, Date (HK Time). Late application will not be accepted.

2. Due to limited space, Hong Kong Film Awards Association (HKFAA) has set application quotas and reserves the rights to assess the accreditation and issue the press accreditation badges at its own discretion.

3. Please complete and submit the application form and enclose one colour photograph with clear full face for each attending reporter.

Photo requirements:

• Image type: JPEG
• File size: 500KB to 1MB

Acceptable dimension:

• Captured by scanner (600dpi) - Photograph size: 40 mm(W) x 50 mm(H)
• Captured by digital camera - Image size: at least 1200 px(W) x 1600 px(H)

4. All applications should be signed by the person-in-charge and bear the company stamp of the media organization. Once the application is submitted, the applicant, attending reporter and the media company represented agree to abide by the terms and conditions, and the arrangements made by HKFAA.

5. Please fill out the application form clearly along with VALID email address and contact telephone number. Applications with incomplete or incorrect information will not be processed.

6. HKFAA will send confirmation emails to successful applicants with press accreditation badge collection details on Xday, Date or Xday, Date. Unsuccessful application will not be notified.

Upon receiving your application, HKFAA will send a confirmation document via email. To complete the application, please submit a copy of this document signed by the person-in-charge and bear the company stamp of the media organization before the application deadline.
